Vaman Panchkarma is one of the five panchakarma procedures which helps to detox kapha dosha. Romoval of excess kapha dosha from oral cavity is known as Vaman. Vaman procedure mainly caried out in 3 stages.
1. Purvakarma (preparatary procedure): –  It consist of
a) langhan, Deepan, Pachana = Promoting Agni 
b) Snehana & Abhyangam = Oleation & Massage
c) Swedana = Sudation or Sweating Therapy.
2. Pradhan Karma (Majorkarma): – This is actual Vaman Karma. Patient asked to drink Yashtimadhu phanta full stomatch. This is called as Aakantha Pan. Aakantha pan doshas start coming outside. The process of vaman panchkarma starts there after. Total 8 vegas excpected to detox properly.
3. Pashchata Karma = post detox dietary management. It consist of diet consumption periodically light diet to normal routine diet.
